Part 2:

1. What is your brief one paragraph summary of this video? What are the histories, cultures, nations mentioned?
-President Obama is working towards a world where we all can live together in peace and work together to promote the health and well being of everyone in the world. While he does not believe in pushing personal beliefs on others, he does believe in pushing for everyone to have natural human rights. These human rights will allow for everyone to live equally in this world. Together as a people we need to move forward in cooperation and in the best interest of religious freedom, forwarding science, supporting the arts, but most of all supporting each other as equals.
Other items mentioned: Islam and Muslim communities throughout history, Darfur and Bosnia's massive loss of innocent lives, Afghanistan in the War on Terrorism as well as Al Qaeda's promise to take as many American lives as possible, Iraq as an uprising country that our troops will help to become a nation able to stand on its own after an unnecessary invasion of American troops, Americans' tragic loss due to the terrorist acts of 9/11, as well as the conflict between Palestine and Israel.

5. Why do you think the cultures noted relates to U.S. cultures (no wrong answer; this will be made clear during a future assignment)?

Every culture has one or many religions that the people of that culture will follow, and all of them should be able to coexist peacefully.
